About this activity
This a way to get to know the city in a new way. The tour starts at your hotel where you will be picked in an air conditioned van driven by an English speaking professional tour guide who will drive you to the departure point located at the central part of the bay.

Once you are there you will take a tandem bicycle for up to 6 persons and you will leave towards the west of the city of Acapulco to pay a visit to the Fortress of San Diego. After a short visit there, the tandem will head to a couple of restaurants, "El Amigo Miguel" and "Doña Toña" where you will be able to taste a few Mexican snacks.

Afterwards the group will head to Caleta beach, very possibly the nicest beach in Acapulco, located at the very end of the main avenue where you will make a stop at the very famous "La Cabaña Restaurant" where you will savor an Acapulco delicacy & specialty "Tamales de Cazon". Then last but not least the group will head east to make a stop at the 100% natural restaurant where you will enjoy a delicious smoothie made out of cactus leaves, aloe Vera, celery, orange and pineapple juice; the best for recuperating the lost energy. Lastly the group will head back to the departure point where you will board an air conditioned van to get back to the hotel where the tour started.

The air conditioned van will always be next to the tandem bicycle in case you would like to leave the tandem bicycle and board the air conditioned van.

This three hour bike ride cover different aspect of the city, from historic, cultural and gastronomic. Besides increasing the use of public bicycles, this activity promotes sustainable transportation in the port.. The tandem, with more than two seats, was designed and manufactured in Mexico, and allows even people who don´t know how to ride a bike to have fun and ride it.
