Stop At: Independence Square, Accra Ghana

Travelers will visit the iconic monuments of Ghana's independence struggle: the Independence Arch and the Black Star Gate. During this picturesque visit, travelers will learn about the Big Six and their roles in Ghana's journey for independence.

Stop At: Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, High St., Accra Ghana

Take a walk through this peaceful memorial park in the middle of the bustling city of Accra. It is a chance to visit the Nkrumah Mausoleum and here the story of Ghana's national hero, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Center for National Culture, 28th February Rd Near Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, Accra Ghana

Time to shop! You'll find all the quintessential Ghanaian souvenirs and artifacts at the Center. Practice your price negotiation skills after we give you a brief introduction in the fine art of price bargaining in Ghana.

Stop At: Osikan Ocean Rock Retreat, John Evans Atta Mills High St, Accra, Ghana

After all that walking and shopping, lets take a break for a refreshing drink by the ocean side. Sit close enough for the waves to splash you or enjoy your drink and snack more in-land. Get a chance to listen to some Ghanaian music, chat amongst yourselves or with new friends before we jet off to our next spot!

Pass By: Flagstaff House, Independence Ave, Accra, Ghana

Travelers will be given bus tour of major points of interests in Accra, such as: the presidential residence and office of the Golden Jubilee House, the Judiciary Services and Office of Parliament buildings, and the W.E.B. Dubios (Pan-African) Center. By the end of these drive by visits, travelers will be fully informed about Ghana's political atmosphere.

Stop At: Osu Oxford Street, Oxford St No 22, Accra Ghana

We will grab some smoothies or freshly squeezed sugarcane juice as we walk down the ever vibrant Oxford Street. Keep an eye out for vendors, shopping malls, taxis and public transport mini-buses. Oxford St will give you a great feel of the distinct ebb and flow of Accra city living!

Stop At: Afrikiko, Liberation Rd, Accra, Ghana

Salsa time. Join us at 6pm for dinner and drinks, 2 hour basics (or intermediate) salsa lesson, and a night of social dancing.

Depending on the the way of week, dinner, lessons and dancing will be at:

Wednesday: Afrikiko, in Accra

Thursday: Accra City Hotel

Friday: Dadabee Restaurant, in Tema

Saturday: Hotel Beulah, in Tema
