About this activity
This tour aims to take you through Old Ahmedabad and give you a glimpse of the historical remains in the city. Your tour will begin at the Jama Masjid. Built in 1423, this mosque is constructed with salvaged remains of demolished Hindu and Jain temples.

Next, you will visit the small Sidi Saiyad's Mosque which is noted for its beautifully carved stone windows which depict the intertwined branches of a tree. The last stop of your tour will be the Shaking Minarets of Sidi Bashir's Mosque. In this fascinating structure, if you shake one minaret, the others resonate in harmony. However, their interconnecting terrace stands still. This mysterious phenomenon has increasingly given rise to an interest in the structure.
