Day 1: Addis Ababa Highlights
Stop At: National Museum of Ethiopia, King George VI Street, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
DAY 1:
Pick up from Bole International Airport and transfer to your hotel.
After breakfast in the hotel a full day city tour is awaiting you.
In the NATIONAL MUSEUM, one of the most important sub-Saharan museums of Africa, you
have the chance to meet ‘Lucy’ - your very famous ancestor.

Stop At: Ethnological Museum, Algeria St Piazza Haile, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
The ETHNOLOGICAL MUSEUM, set within Haile Selassie's former palace shows superb artifacts
and handicrafts from Ethiopia’s people and gives you the possibility to explore Haile Selassie’s
preserved private rooms.

Stop At: Holy Trinity Cathedral, Aratkilo area Addis, Addis Ababa 123 Ethiopia
HOLY TRINITY CATHEDRAL, the second - most important place of worship in Ethiopia, also
displays the final resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie and his wife Empress Menen Asfaw.

Day 2: Bahir Dar
Stop At: Lake Tana, Ground floor from Blue Nile Hotel, Bahir Dar 1000 Ethiopia
After an early morning flight and transfer to your hotel, the source of the Blue Nile and largest lake
of Ethiopia - LAKE TANA - with it’s many is lands and monasteries needs to be discovered on a private boats tour - look out for hippopotamuses in the water! You will visit Ura Kidane Mehret and Kebran Gabriel The climate is almost Mediterranean.

Stop At: Blue Nile Falls, Ethiopia
In the afternoon you will be driven to TIS ABBAY - the BLUE NILE FALLS - after a short hike you will be able to admire the beautiful waterfall, between 37 and 45 meters high, being on full flood in June, July, August and half of September.

Day 3: Gondar
Stop At: Fasilides' Bath, Gondar, Ethiopia
Today you drive on a very scenic route From Bahir Dar to GONDAR (3 - 4 hours) - the old capital of the Ethiopian
Empire with great buildings from that time. During a half day tour to the immense 17th - century castle of Emperor Fasilides (World Heritage), the royal FASILIDES BATH (most important place
for the Ethiopian Timkat celebration) and the church of DEBRE BIRHAN SELASSIE you will
learn a lot about Ethiopian history.

Stop At: Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela, Lalibela 1260 Ethiopia

After arrival in Lalibela you have the afternoon to rest and walk in and around Lalibela town see the way life of the local people, get invited for the special coffee ceremony in one of the local family house.

FULL DAY LALIBELA WORLD HERITAGE CHURCHES TOUR
After having had breakfast, you head out for the north - western cluster of churches - Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, Bet Danaghel, Bete Mikael & Bet Golgotha. Churches are closed from 12 - 2pm, so, in the afternoon you will continue with the south - eastern cluster of churches – Bet Gabriel Rafael, Bet Merkorios, Bet Emanuel, and Bet Abba Libanos and finally - the most famous of all: Bet Giyorgis
