Forget the museums and churches, this fantastic tour gave a great insight into the vibrant streetlife and food and drink culture of Addis. The guide ZEREFE and driver TAMIRSAT were both first class. They really took care of me and ensured my safety at all times, even in the most chaotic and crowded parts of Merkato. The markets were fascinating indeed. Something very difficult to experience alone without a guide. I also loved the coffee shop and the family business making injera, although my own attempt was hilariously bad. Lunch was at the historical and fascinating Taitu Hotel and we finished the tour with a coffee ceremony and flask of Tej at Addis Ababa restaurant. Really excellent tour,. Highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of takeing this tour with Seya as our guide. This young man was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about Ethiopian history and culture. He was very detailed in delivering this information. I have been on several tours on several countries previously but I must say the information/knowledge that I learend from my tours with Seya was unexplainable. If you want to experience and learn about Ethiopia this is the company to book with and if you want to be enlighented requesting Seya as your guide is a must.
