Omo Valley Tribal Tour, 5 days

Day 01: Arrival and Addis Ababa city Tour.
Day 02: Fly from Addis to Arbaminch. We drive to Chencha, to visit the Dorze people, with their unique culture, houses and traditions. Drive to Konso. O/n Edget Hotel
Day 03: Visit Konso in the morning. Drive to Turmi. On the way visit available markets.
The Konso village terracing is registered by UNESCO as Ethiopia’s 9th world heritage site. The landscape formed by erosion called “New York” to compare boldly with skyscraper buildings in USA. After visiting the Macheke village of Waka & their god statues head to the closest Omo valley villages. o/n Kizo lodge
Day 04: Drive to Omorate in the morning. At Omorate Dassanech tribes live. After you take the boat ride or swim pass you will get to the amazing Dasenech tribes, sharing some cultures with the Kenyan Turkana. Yes! you are only some 30 Km away from Kenya and Turkana territory. Visit Hammer villages in the afternoon. o/n Kizo lodge
Day 05: Drive to Kurcho the village of Karo Tribes in the morning. In the afternoon drive to Jinka. Key Afar village Thursday’s market is an advantage to see at least 3 tribes before heading to Jinka in one hour. o/n Eyob Pension
Day 06: Morning drive to Mago National Park to visit Mursi tribes. The trip from Jinka is to see a collection of many representative tribe market dominated by Ari people as a principal town of Omo Valley region. It can be a hub to divert into one of the renowned tribes especially to Mursi known by their girls putting clay plates on their lips. In the afternoon drive back to Jinka for your return flight to Addis Ababa. o/n Departure
