EXCELLENT! Would definitely recommend the 2 day trip. Hotel was surprisingly Very Modern! Saw and petted lots of kangaroos and koalas! So adorable. Made my trip worthwhile. Guide was great and very knowledgeable. Took the ferry over and plane back. Could have taken ferry back, no problem. Stayed at Hotel Adbacoa was fine, washer and dryer in hotel very handy. 6

It would seem that we picked the worst possible two days to explore Kangaroo Island. The unseasonal wet and extremely cold weather put a dampener on most of the outdoor phases of the excursion. The small aircraft early morning flight did not provide the spectacular views that we had anticipated because of the cloudy weather. But once on the ground and being bussed around the Islands tourist features, staying warm, we enjoyed the unique flora and fauna attributes of the area. The Tea Tree Plantation, the wild life outdoor zoo, the impressive rock formations, and the wild and storming coastline was as interesting and well presented as we had anticipated. My camera thankfully taken by the very courteous bus driver/guide, to the Remarkable Rocks site, produced the most expressive photos of our 3 months stay in the Land of the Wizard. The overnight stay at the Ozone Hotel was extremely comfortable as was the ferry ride back to the mainland. Not sure that we would take the flight again because of the variable weather conditions on this area. Could I suggest that all users of this package be very aware of the location of their hotel in Adelaide as being dropped at a closed Terminal late on the return night can be somewhat stressful? Not sure that the return driver had participated in the courtesy course that was obviously attended by our on-Island guide. Not such a pleasant end to what was overall a great Aussie experience. Great two-day trip. Booked from the U.S. and executed very well locally. We booked our arrival in Adelaide at the Crowne Plaza and pick up was right outside the hotel. Coach to the ferry, and then switch to another coach upon arrival on KI. Spent the night at the Aurora Ozone, which was fantastic. Saw plenty of seals, koalas and kangaroos. Even saw albino kangaroos. Thoroughly recommend this two-day visit to KI. I particularly enjoyed because I hate driving and not having to drive around the island was a huge plus.

Excellent way to see that all Kangaroo Island has to offer. The mini-bus was spacious and comfortable. The driver was full of information along the way picking out sights to see as we went along. The hotel in Kingscote was first rate. I flew back rather than take the ferry crossing and road trip back to Adelaide. I would recommend that otherwise you arrive back late. There was a car at the airport to take me back to my hotel. A bit of trivia for post card enthusiasts, the post office in Kingscote which is right behind the hotel has a special Kangaroo Island cancellation for postcards and envelopes. If I had known I would have sent off a few to friends and family. I would have had time as the second day tour started at 10 a.m. Alas I didn't know about that but it is not the tour fault.

This was a great trip for animal lovers as the wildlife was extensive and varied. Each day started with a visit to a local business eucalyptus oil, honey that were primarily shopping opportunities but then the pace picked up rapidly to include seal lions, koalas, kangaroos, raptors and fur seals. There were also several beautiful landscapes such as Pennington Bay and Remarkable Rocks. Our driver/tour guide, Jackie, did a remarkable job of dispensing information, driving and keeping everyone on schedule. We stayed at the Aurora ozone Hotel, which was quite nice and offered good meals.

If going to Kangaroo Island, definitely take the two day tour. We had Marc as a tour guide, and he was SUPERB! There is so much more to see and do on the 2 day tour compared to the one day tour. We stayed at the Aurora Ozone, which was right on the water we kept the door of our balcony door overlooking the water open to hear the waves at night and also allowed an extra hour of sleep. This has been the highlight of our trip to Australia, so far.

Everything about the trip was fabulous! The coach from my hotel to the ferry, the driver was very informative, the boat trips, the coach on the island, the driver Jacqui, great commentary, the exceptional scenery, the hotel, the food, the visits to interesting places and it was a heap of fun. I have recommended it to quite a few people and hope to go back in Autumn or Winter sometime.

We had a great 2-day trip! Very well organised with a great guide - Greg. The timetable was well put together with plenty of time to visit the sights that we went to. The lunch venues were great and the food equally so.
