Our day was wonderful and interesting. Our tour guide Greg and his partner were fabulous!! We enjoyed our visit to Mt. Lofty where we had a beautiful view of the area before our relaxing lunch cruise on a paddle boat on the River Murray. The chicken schnitzel was not only plentiful but delicious also!! After lunch we toured the area and stopped at many other stops along the way, including Hahndorf a beautiful German town and a stop for some delicious jams at Beerenberg. Greg was very informative and knowledgeable about the area and its history. A delightful and fun day that we highly recommend for anyone that wants to see a lot and enjoy the area.
Simply boring after one hour cruising and food...equally boring. Didnt given enough time to spend at Handrof city which is Such a beautiful place to spend at least one hour. Tour guide was interested in taking us to strawberry farm, chocolate factory and Cheese factory and we all decided not to go to cheese factory as wanted to spend more time in Handrof city. Then rush was for chocolate factory which wasnt working and ended up just buying some chocolates.
Excellent value. Small group of six. Tour group leader, Jessica, was professional, calm and made us feel welcome. Prompt collection from our hotel. We could not have covered so much on our own in temperatures of 100 degrees. Freshly cooked lunch on on Captain Proud highly appreciated...... as was the chilled water provided throughout the day.
Great trip! Small group, picked up from and delivered to our hotel, and tour was customised to the interests of the group and the weather! to and from the Murray River. Enjoyed the cruise, and the lunch was great especially the apple crumble!!. Would recommend trip and Roger who is a local to anyone who has not seen this area of SA. Would recommend that Viator include mobile numbers in their bookings so drivers can contact customers.
