The new Magill Estate Cellar Door offers breathtaking views of the iconic Penfolds vineyards, a perfect setting for visitors to immerse themselves in the history and spirit of Penfolds.
Join a guided historical tour of Penfolds Magill Estate. Your host will take you on a journey through Penfolds’ history including a visit to the Grange Cottage and the vintage cellar. You will also experience the underground drives and see the original hiding spot of Max Schubert’s hidden Grange.
Your host will then lead you through a structured tasting of some our most highly coveted wines followed by a 3 course lunch in one of the private rooms. Lunch is matched with 3 Penfolds’ Wines.

This was truly a phenomenal experience of tasting such vintage wines. Our guide was fabulous, you obtained a great understanding and overview of the vineyard and its history. The lunch was also delicious. This is by far one of the greatest wine tours I have ever had the privilege of experiencing. Expensive but well worth it.
Couldn't have been better. After reading the reviews we decided to book the iconic experience. It exceeded our expectations. Ryan and Paul were fabulous and their knowledge was amazing. The tasting in the private room was not rushed and there was no pressure to follow up with a purchase afterwards. The food was exceptional, plus more wines to compliment our meal. We loved our souvenir note book to bring home. We have done various wine tours over the years when visiting Adelaide but this is definitely our queen of the cellar!
