Sahara Desert - 5 days 4 nights

1st day : Marrakesh – Ouarzazate 

start at 8 am. We drive across the High Atlas mountains enjoying the panoramic views .we stop at the Kasbah of Telouet. This Kasbah served as a palatial residence and headquarters of the powerful Glaoui tribe. have lunch. then take the road that crosses the Ounila Valley and leads us along the scenic road to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the oldest and most famous Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. You spend the night in Ouarzazate .

2nd day : Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges 

We have breakfast and head out towards the Dades Gorge, pass the Skoura Oasis, where many ancient kasbahs, stand along the palm trees. We follow our route through Kela’a M’gouna, the Valley of Roses, famous for it’s roses. We take an off road from here to have a better view of the landscape.then go to the Dades Gorge for lunch. You will still have half the day to spend walking in the valley or just realaxing. You can also walk the fields and gardens. Then a guest house is where you will spend the night. 

3rd day : Dades gorges – Merzouga 

We have breakfast and travel a short time to Tinghir and the unique Toudgha gorges. You can walk and see the steep sides of the gorge and the narrow view of the sky above. Then, we continue on to the Chebbi dunes via Tinjdad, and the Oasis of Tafilalet near Erfoud, and it’s famous Date Festival, and Rissani, the seat of the Alaouite family of the current king of Morocco. Between Tinjdad and Erfoud, you will be able to get into the incredible underground water cannels deep below the earth, they are always cool and stop the evaporation of this source of irrigation. In Erfoud itself, we can stop and look at the workings of thousands of fossils made into all artefacts. We can have a glass of tea and take a camel ride and watch the gorgeous sunset from the top of the dunes. Dinner is later that evening and you spend the night in a nomad tent at the Dunes. 

4th day : Merzouga – Zagora 

If you are an early riser, you can watch the unbelievably gorgeous sunrise, that is also the time when the colour of the dunes and the shadows play together, another awesome sight. Then we continue to Zagora, the largest oasis in the Dra'a Valley it’s famous for its abundant variety of dates. We take the road through Ressani. Alnif. Tazarine to reach Zagora and have the night in a hotel / riad . 

 5th day : Zagora – Marrakesh 

We eat breakfast and then take the road north along the ancient caravan route and see the real Dra’a Valley with its huge palm trees and ancient villages. On the top of the Dra'a Valley you can stop to visit Kasbah Tamnougalte. We return to Ouarzazate, via the mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tinfifte (1660m). Later we head to Marrakech to complete the trip at the end of the afternoon.
