Bit of a mixed bag. The guide was on time but said very little much of the time and talked on his smartphone. He told me the tour did not include Tomb of Itmad ud Daulah but accepted it did when shown the voucher. After Agra Fort, he informed us he was leaving and another guide would meet us at Fatehpur Sikri. We were sent off with only a driver. When we went to the lunch stop, they insisted we had to pay for our lunch although we were told it was included when booking confirmed on our paperwork. As we had no guide with us, we had no option but to pay. Afternoon guide at Fatehpur Sikri was good but did drag us to shopping opportunity we did not need. Overall, OK but left a bit of a bitter taste.

This was a great tour and Sumit and his team were very flexible and accommodating to our requests. We started a little bit later as there was too much fog to see and visited the Agra Fort first. Our guides for the day were very knowledgeable and interesting and were able to answer all of our questions. All of the sites are incredibly amazing and it certainly helps to have a private guide with you so that you don't get harassed by hawkers at each location. We also had a licensed photographer come with us for part of our Taj Mahal visit which meant we got access to all the good photo spots. The visits to the local marble and stone merchants was interesting, but I really don't like the sales aspect but was always expected. For those people wondering if the trip out to Fatehpur Sikri is worth it? It definitely is. This abandoned city is unlike what you will see in Agra. Each palace within the monument is so very different itself and shows the differences in heritage and religion of each Queen. It is definitely worth the extra distance and definitely not to be missed. Sumit and his team give a wonderful day and are very flexible and accommodating to their guests.
