All Terrain Adventure – Buggy Cars All Terrain Buggy Cars Tours take place in Apaneca/ Ahuachapán. Apaneca is located in the Sierra Apaneca Ilamatepec 1450 masl, is the second-highest town in El Salvador. It is also one of the most pleasant and colorful towns, with cobblestone streets, a cool climate and a mellow atmosphere. Apaneca is about an hour and a half from AST Surf Hotel in La Libertad. Tour: This trip starts with a mellow route to Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon) to become familiar with the buggy, then trip continues down to the springs of Santa Teresa (all the way is between coffee plantations). This trip last between 3 to 4 hours. This is a very exiting trip due the hardcore terrain, includes entry to the thermal pools. After driving thru the jungle and coffee plantations we are ready to take clients to chill at the waterfalls in Juayua or to have a local drink in Ataco.
