The cruise to the pontoon was ok. Staff were helpful and courteous. Morning tea was fruit and biscuits, a bit of a disappointment! Lunch was a cold buffet with assortment of salads, cold chicken and prawns which was not too bad. Afternoon tea was crackers, cheese, cabana and pickles. Free coffee and tea were available most of the day. The viewing of the reef in the semi-submersible was less than impressive. Grey coral with hardly any animal life there. A few fish could be viewed around the pontoon but again nothing to get exited about. All in all, a disappointing experience for the money!

I have recently moved to Australia and was going to be in the Mackay area for work so I decided to extend my stay and drive to Airlie Beach to go on this cruise/trip. I went on my own and had such a fun time! I met so many nice people, the Cruise Whitsundays staff was amazing - super friendly and helpful. I opted to do the guided snorkeling and it was great, though it seemed to go very quickly. I will be doing this trip again, but I will add the scuba dive next time! Highly recommend!

We had a very nice day with the crew being very helpful, friendly and organised The reef was a little disappointing and bland due mainly to global warming and overuse

Great experience, organised really well, lunch was nice with tea and coffee afterwards served with homemade muffins, well worth the money to see the reef, an experience like none other.

Everything is to be lived in this tour!!! The trip to the Great Reef Barrier, the discovery of the floating Harbour there, and snorkeling or scuba diving! You can buy a picture of you patting a huge fish, quite adopted by the guide underwater. Then, you get an amazing lunch all you can eat, with just anything to eat! During the trip, you can get free coffee or tea, along with cakes, in the morning, and in the afternoon, on the way back, a little goûter. Great memory!

This trip is a must do. The staff were helpful and friendly and we had a great experience snorkelling and enjoying the fish life and enjoyed snorkelling with a turtle and a giant friendly groper fish. . Sadly, the reef we visited is looking very bleached and sad, but I think that is just due to the impact of global warming. It is ten years since I last visited the reef and the decline is evident.
