This was a fun day or snorkeling, site seeing and swimming. The BBQ was fantastic and the tour guides were personable and helpful. Unfortunately, the coral is pretty bleached and we didn't see too many different types of marine life although the guides did their best feeding the fish so they would swim closer to where we were snorkeling. Definitely pay the 8 for the stinger suit. We saw some massive jellyfish. The day was set so it was the perfect amount of activity and time to relax. I would highly recommend.
Very disappointed with this one. Rushed to and from the hill inlet by the tour operator, had less than 5 minutes (of an 8hr day) to take photos over Whitehaven (which is the whole point of going there). The "glass bottom boat" is a tiny window in the bottom of a dingy. Couldn't see a thing.
The experience was amazing! Boat, hike, beach, snokel and lunch were all top notch. Great crew that obviously like what they do. One small change would be to organize pickup online. As a tourist calling to arrange pickup is difficult and the was no in town office that we could find to ask. We found it and it was worth it!
The view of Whitehaven beach from the lookout is just amazing. The BBQ lunch on the beach was also great. We were just a bit disappointed by the snorkelling material. The captain Dan was a fun guy with stories about shark bites and all. Unfortunately the other 2 crew members were borderline rude.
My family and I had the most amazing time in the Withsundays during this trip! Jill and Terry helped us in everything we needed making us enjoy as much as possible. Lunch was perfect, same as all the activities!
