About this activity
Drive through the Alpilles National Park and reach the perched medieval village of Baux-de-Provence. Free time to explore the narrow streets, gallery and 10th century fortress. Drive to Saint-Remy de Provence. Photo stop on the "plateau des Antiques" Roman monuments and lunch at leisure in the village. Market on Wednesdays.
Then on to Gordes, a medieval village listed by UNESCO and considered as one of the most beautiful of France. Photo stop over the village and free time at leisure to visit the church, cobbled stone streets and village or castle.
Drive along the regional park of Luberon and its amazing landscape and stop in the Ochre village of Roussillon. Free time at leisure in the village or walk along the Ochre path during a 30 min walk through the Provençal Colorado, an ancient ochre quarry.
Drive through the hilltop village of Bonnieux, Pont Julien Roman Bridge and stop in Lourmarin, an authentic village where Peter Mayle was used to leave. Free time to visit the village and admire the 18th century castle. Back to Aix-en-Provence when the tour is finished.

I was very disappointed in this tour. I booked this because it claimed to include Saint-Remy de Provence. It did not. We did not stop there and barely drove through part of the city at a fast pace. Instead, we stopped for about 40 minutes at the mental institution outside of St. Remy and had to pay an additional 5 euros for a tour of the facility. The other stops barely gave us enough time to have a cup of coffee or browse. I've been on many great Viator tours but would not recommend this tour. JB
It was a beautiful day and the drive through the towns was fantastic! All the towns are soon beautiful!! And Celine was very nice!
