Your journey :
• Lourmarin
To start this Excursion, a first stop will be made at the village in which Albert Camus rests. Stroll through the narrow and winding streets of one of the most beautiful villages in France. You will enjoy its typical Mediterranean architecture. A halt will also be made in the vicinity of the Château de Lourmarin Built in the fifteenth century.
• Roussillon
You will visit the colorful village of Roussillon and its Colorado Where you can take a 30-minute walk to explore the world's largest ochre deposit!
• Village of Bories
Start by discovering the "black Village", one of the most typical hamlets of the Provence. Inhabited until XIXE century, it is an incomparable testament to the Provençal farming lifestyle. The architecture of these skillful pilings of unattached dry stones is in perfect harmony with the natural elements, which are no longer present, of the Provence !
• Abbey of Notre-Dame de Sénanque
We will continue our road from the Luberon a few steps from the Village of Bories by stopping at theSénanque Abbey, one of the most popular emblems of the Provence With its fields of Lavender. This abbey, founded in 1148 has preserved its buildings intact, it is considered one of the purest buildings of the Cistercian order.
• Gordes
Gordes And its many oil mills is now ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. To realize this, just walk around and contemplate its historical alleys, its castle which now houses the Pol Mora Museum and the magnificent view it offers to admire the Luberon. You will have free time to survey the village and its surroundings.
• Fontaine-de-Vaucluse
A short stroll will allow you to glimpse the source of the Sorgue Popping out of nowhere at the exit of the village of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse Who gave his name to the department.
