About this activity

we start this tour by picking you up at your request on your hotel/guesthouse or airport. we start by driving away from Akureyri on the east side of the eyjafjord and drive our way to our first stop that is one of the most beautiful waterfall in iceland called goðafoss, at goðafoss we will take a nice time to enjoy this beauty. when we are finished at the goðafoss it is time to drive our way up to lake mývatn, at mývatn area we will take a few spots to discover like dimmuborgir, grjótagjá námaskarð and maybe something more of nice viewing sightseeing and enjoyable landscapes all around the lake. lake mývatn offers us so many difference all from space, trolls, yule lads mud puds and geysers, game of thrones and much more it has it all and we say just get it all inn, when we are finished to watch and enjoy this amazing areas it is time for a local farm lunch we offer you a good taste of 2 course lunch from the beautiful cowshed restaurant in mývatn, where you watch the cows or the amazing view to hverfjall or the lake it self, while you enjoy the food that is all from this area, you chose between in main course famous local lamb shank or artic char from lake mývatn it docent get more local then this and the lunch is included in our tour. when we had filled us up on a nice local dishes it is time to try the icelandic geothermal hot spring the Myvatn nature baths or our blue lagoon of the north, we give us a good time to relax and enjoy maybe with one or two local drinks and look all around because this landscape around the baths are unique all from lava, lake,and volcano look a like where ever you look it is so nice and of course the admission to the baths are also included in our grand tour. when you are satisfied at the baths it is time to drive back about one and half hour back to Akureyri where you can enjoy our relaxing and cosy anthomphire that the capital of the north has to offer.
