Bremer Discovery Day Trip from Albany

Begin your day with pickup from your Albany hotel before 5:45am (exact time will be advised on reconfirmation). Once aboard your vehicle, you'll take a leisurely journey for 111 mi/180km to reach Bremer Bay. During the drive, your driver/guide will provide an informative and factual commentary on the pioneering history and riches of the amazing South Coast. The day's program is outlined, to ensure you feel relaxed, informed and comfortable about the upcoming day's events.

Upon arrival to the Bremer Bay Marina and Fisheries Beach, view the departure of the Naturaliste Charters’ vessel on its way to the Bremer Canyon. Afterwards, you'll head back to town and driven to the wind turbines set atop the hill to take in amazing panoramic views of the town, estuary, beach and bushland to the Barron Ranges. Morning tea is available for purchase at The Old Telegraph Station where you make a selection from the delicious, freshly baked goods. Don't forget to ask, Harry about the history and native flora and fauna.

Refreshed, you are ready for an included wine tasting at Gnornbup Winery. You may want to pickup some wine to accompany your lunch. Then, you are off for a beach hop on the peninsula beaches including the famous Blossoms Beach and Little Boat Harbour. At Tooreburrup Lookout a magnificent 360-degree view of the region is possible and makes a great photo opportunity.

Next, your driver/guide will deliver you to the Wellstead Heritage Museum for lunch and private guided tour with Max Wellstead. Settle into a delicious, shared platter of local produce for lunch at the Wellstead Heritage Museum Cafe. Savor the tastes while feasting on seasonal local produce on a shared lunch platter which includes local fresh seafood, salad, fresh baked bread, cheese and condiments.

After lunch, take some time to enjoy the extensive collection of memorabilia at the Wellstead Heritage Museum, where ‘there’s something for everyone’ according to Max. Exhausted?
