Great family entertainment and a break from the beach and pool routine. We learned about the location vegetation, history of the region, and got to try figs and almonds straight off of the tree. Interesting information on the cork tree. We also stopped and got to try local honey and medronho fire water. Both were really good. Lunch was fine and the day wrapped up at a local swimming hole fed from a spring. A unique, fun experience. Our guides were fantastic and made it fun.
Very onteresting and informative tour. Guide very knowledgeable about the fruit trees in the area and their production, and an interesting talk about cork production. Guide also most patient with my disability coming back from the waterfall. Would have liked some information about flora , and possibly birds in the area, but otherwise, excellent. Enjoyed tasting the honey and products of the distillation process. Lunch nice.
