About this activity

Board at Albufeira Marina on a catamaran specially built for the purpose. We will sail about 15 min to Castelo beach, once prepared and embarked on you kayak, just let yourself be guided and amazed by the bays, beaches and caves of Albufeira.If sea conditions allow so, you will have the opportunity to land on a small deserted beach where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing dip.After the guided kayak tour, we invite you to board back on the catamaran, and you can take a last dive before returning to the marina.The kayak tour was designed to be accessible and relaxing, however it requires some physical effort! But, if at any time you wish to go back to the catamaran, it will always be nearby.If you want to enjoy the sea, the beauty of the coast, at your own pace and in an ecological way, this is the tour for you! The trip includes: Departure on catamaran, all necessary equipment, tour guide and water.

We were taken in the main boat out about 15mins from the Marina before getting our life jackets and into the kayaks. The guide let us kayak back to the Marina, encouraging us to go in and out of little caves and arches on the way. He stayed close in a boat to help us and made sure the group was safe. Got to chill out on a little secluded pebble beach for a bit and he gave us water. Few people jumped off for a swim too once we were back on the boat. All in all a good few hours of playing on the water with a good guide. Water was so clear too.

The Kayaking was great fun. Not too demanding and just the right number of stops. The boat crew could have been a little more personable ... I think one of them was German. Say no more! :-) But overall great value and I’d happily do it again if I came back to the Algarve
