Itinerary
Come with us on a hike to Lievarden, one of the most beautiful hikes in the Stranda region. This hike gives you spectacular views over Storfjorden and the surrounding Sunnmøre alps – a real goose bumps hike.
From our activity center, it’s a short 15 minute drive up to the starting point in Liene. We climb about 400 vertical meters during the 2,5 km hike. During the first part of the trail, we walk through green lush forest before entering birch forests and getting our first views over Storfjorden.
Chatting with your guide, you will learn stories about the surrounding mountain farms and about the cultural history of the area. This hike suits the whole family and is a perfect stop during your visit in Norway. This is one of our favorite hikes around Stranda.
