Alicante Paella Cooking Experience and Flamenco Show

This day begins in a private luxury loft located at the Alicante old town. The owner of this house opens its doors to share with visitors his passion for good food and his knowledge of the local gastronomic culture. On this practical and hands on course he will instruct you step by step how to cook a traditional paella yourself.
The group will meet at the apartment to visit the Alicante Central Market first or to begin the course, depending on your choice. If you have chosen the Market visit you will go with the instructor towards the old modernist building to buy the best natural products for your paella. While you walk between a great fruits and vegetables polychrome, the herbs and spices aromas, an incredible assortment of fresh fish and seafood you’ll listen detailed explanations about typical products of Spanish gastronomy.
Once in the house, you will be welcome with some drinks and then you’ll begin the preparation of the seafood paella, with selected fresh ingredients. While you are cooking you’ll savor fresh shellfish appetizers from the Denia bay and many typical Spanish tapas.
It’s time to taste your paella. Serve it up and sit down to enjoy wine, food and good company with your friends or make new ones. After lunch, savor an original homemade dessert and learn how to drink from a typical “porrón”. But that is not all! Then, you will learn how to prepare a refreshing mojito to relish with the group.
That night, you'll be pleased with a great live Flamenco Show in an authentic tablao, located in the hearth of Alicante. The tablao presents a dynamic schedule of performances, featuring the premier artists from Spain. During the show, you are also invited to a drink by person (wine, cava or soft drink).
