Private Authentic Spanish Cooking Class with Juan in Almeria

This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Meet your host Juan at his apartment building in Almeria and enjoy a welcome drink and snack. Next, roll up your sleeves and join him in his kitchen to learn to cook a traditional Spanish meal from recipes that he learned from his mother that he has perfected over the years. Your hands-on cooking class will last about 1.5 hours during which you will learn to cook three dishes from scratch. Learn how to make empanadas, a salad, and paella for lunch or a lighter main for dinner. Spaniards typically only eat paella for lunch and a lighter meal for dinner. Enjoy cooking before you sit down at the table to share the meal you helped prepare with Juan. If you choose a dinner experience, you will learn to make and enjoy dishes such as tortilla de patatas, croquetas con jamon or mushrooms, empanadas and a salad.
