Private tour of Amalfi Coast wine cellars with transport

This tour will take you on a journey through the Tramonti wine area, located behind Amalfi and Ravello, the gems of the Amalfi Coast. Phylloxera has never invaded the area, thanks to the volcanic composition of the soil, which is why you can admire vine plants that are over 300 years old - a very rare sight indeed.

The first winery you will visit is Giuseppe Apicella, a small family business where you can feel the passion that has been guiding this family of winegrowers for three generations. Fiorina will take you to the historic vineyard called 'La Scippata' and to the tiny wine-making cellar. At the end of the tour you will taste four typical wines, such as Tramonti Costa d'Amalfi, White Tramonti Costa d'Amalfi, Colli di Salerono Piedirosso and A' Scippata, together with traditional Tramontini products: cheese, cold cuts and bread.

Delighted by these unique and exquisite wines, you will reach the second winery, the renowned Tenuta San Francesco. You will be welcomed by the owner, who will take you on a tour of the nearby historic vineyard, a 400-year-old pergola, and serve you a traditional lunch with three Tenuta San Francesco wines, including an excellent sparkling Metodo Classico made from Falanghina grapes.

Your driver will then take you back to your hotel on the Amalfi Coast, through the verdant landscape of Tramonti.
