Day 1: Arrival in Amman – Petra (D)

Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, meet a driver for transfer to a hotel in Petra. Overnight in Petra, 152 miles (245 km.)

Day 2: Petra - Wadi Rum - Aqaba (B, D)

After breakfast visit the Nabatean city of Petra, a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site that was carved in stone more than 2,000 years ago. Walk the “siq” into the city, following a narrow, .75-mile (1.2-km) path to the spectacular treasury. Other Petra highlights include the Theatre and The Royal Tombs, built high into the mountainside.

Following your time at Petra, continue to Wadi Rum, a dramatic desert mountain that's been the backdrop for films including Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian. Board a 4x4 vehicle for a classic tour of Wadi Rum's rosy sand and cliffs, where you'll find a blend of brown, red, and golden stone. Transfer to Aqaba for dinner and check in at your hotel. Overnight in Aqaba, 124 miles (200 km.)

Day 3: Aqaba – Amman Airport (B)

After breakfast, enjoy free time to explore Aqaba, then transfer to Amman's Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
