Day 1: Amman Airport - Petra Hotel

Day 2: Petra Visit - Dead Sea Beach - Amman Hotel

Stop At: Dead Sea, Madaba Jordan
Today we explore the splendid red rose city Petra, established around the 6th century BC by the Nabataean Arabs, and a major caravan centre during the Hellenistic and Roman period. With the guide pass the narrow gorge, the so called Siq, rewarded by a glimpse of the most beautiful monument, the Treasury, known also as Al Khazneh. Passing the Street of Facades you see more of the great architecture, mostly carved in the coloured sandstone, the Urn and the Silk Tomb, the Theatre and the Grand Temple. The guide says farewell to you and you walk the same way back to the entrance gate. Your driver takes you to the Dead Sea Beach. Here you have free time with the chance to float on the salty waters.

Day 3: Amman Hotel – Jerash – Baptism Site – Mt Nebo – Madaba – Amman Airport

Stop At: Jerash Ruins, Jerash Jordan
07:00 pick up at Amman Hotel and drive in the north of Jordan to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. We visit the spectacular Forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. Next to the Jordan Valley, to Bethany at the Jordan River, commonly known as the Baptism Site, the place where the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist took place. We also have a look at Elijah's Hill where Prophet Elijah ascended to heaven. After wards proceed to Mount Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. Furthermore enjoy the view of the Jordan Valley and parts of the Holy Land. We continue to Madaba, to St. George Church where we see the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine. According to your departure time, transfer to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your flight.
