DAY 1 // ARRIVAL AMMAN
Arrival, transfer to Amman hotel for dinner & overnight Amman (Breakfast and Dinner)
DAY 2 // AMMAN – JERASH – DESERT CASTLES – AMMAN
Head for a 2-hour visit to Jerash, the ancient Roman city with a local English speaking guide. Walk the paved and colonnaded streets, and take note of the soaring hilltop temples, theaters, spacious public squares, plazas, baths, fountains and city walls. Then we proceed to the Eastern Desert to visit Al Kharraneh Castle, Amra Castle (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and Al Azraq Castle where Lawrence of Arabia resided and wrote part of his book “Seven Pillars of Wisdom”. Dinner & overnight Amman (Breakfast and Dinner)
DAY 3 // AMMAN – MADABA – MT NEBO – KINGS WAY – PETRA
Head to visit Madaba, a city best known for the famous 6th century Mosaic map of Jerusalem & Holy Land and for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Proceed to Mt. Nebo, a city mentioned in the bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land that he would never enter. Then drive south through the kings way where you will enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of Jordan valley, Wadi Al-Mujib, and many natural reserves like Dana biosphere reserve. Upon completion, dinner & overnight Petra (Breakfast and Dinner)
DAY 4 // PETRA VISIT
Start a visit to the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra with a local English-speaking guide for 2 hours. Petra is one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Dinner & overnight Petra (Breakfast and Dinner)
DAY 5 // PETRA – WADI RUM – AQABA
Head to explore Wadi Rum on a 1.30 hour jeep ride into the Jordanian desert! Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon”. Transfer to Aqaba for dinner & overnight (Breakfast and Dinner)
DAY 6 // AQABA (OPTIONAL SNORKELING $ 45 per person- min 2 people) – AQABA
Free at leisure. optional activity of snorkeling into the Red Sea in a very beautiful coral reefs spot for 4 hours. That includes a snorkeling kit supplie & BBQ lunch & soft drink. Dinner & Overnight stay in Aqaba (Breakfast and Dinner)
DAY 7 // AQABA – (OPTIONAL BETHANY $ 40 per person – min 2 people) – DEAD SEA
Your day in Aqaba is free at leisure. Optional visit to the baptismal site of Jesus Christ (Bethany beyond Jordan). transfer to your hotel at the Dead Sea for diner & overnight (Breakfast and Dinner)
DAY 8 // DEPARTURE DEAD SEA – QUEEN ALIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Breakfast at Dead Sea hotel & check out. Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
