Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVAL / AMMAN (+/- 35 Km)
Stop At: Amman Panorama Art Gallery, Al Hashemi Street, Amman Jordan
Arrive to Amman Airport, meet & assist by our airport representative through customs and formalities. Transfer to Amman Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: JERASH / AJLOUN / AMMAN (+/- 230 Km)
Stop At: Amman Panorama Art Gallery, Al Hashemi Street, Amman Jordan
Depart to visit Jerash; the best-preserved example of Roman civilization, part of the Decapolis (The ten big Roman cities of the east) has been called the Pompeii of the east for its unique state of preservation, featuring theatres, churches, temples (Zeus and Artemis), a Nymphaeum and colonnaded streets. Proceed to visit Ajloun; the 12th Century Castle which was built by Saladin in his successful campaign to drive the Crusaders from Jordan in 1189 and is an outstanding example of Arab/Islamic military architecture. Dinner and overnight at Amman Hotel.

Day 3: MADABA / MT NEBO / VIA WADI AL MUJIB / SHOBAK / PETRA (+/- 330 Km)
Stop At: Madaba Mosaic Map, Inside St. George's Church, Madaba Jordan
Via king’s road to visit the Mosaic city of Madaba; where the oldest map of the Holy Land exists on the floor of Saint George’s Church. The city itself features many famous mosaics that exist in public and private buildings. And then continue to visit Mt. Nebo; the alleged burial site of Moses overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Here Franciscans have built a structure that protects a 4th and 6th Century Byzantine church, continue Via Wadi Al Mujib, Proceed to visit Shobak Castle; built in 1115, it was the first of many fortifications built beyond the Jordan by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem to guard the road from Egypt to Damascus. It successfully resisted a number of sieges until it fell to Saladin's troops in 1189. Dinner and overnight at Petra Hotel.

Day 4: PETRA
Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
Full day visit of Petra; a city carved into the rose-red Sharah Mountains by the Nabateans and lost to Civilization until re-discovered by the Swiss Burkhardt. Walk through the Siq, a narrow and winding fissure between the cliffs, to reach the Treasury, the Roman Theater, the Courts, Qasr Bint Pharaoun, Temple of the Winged Lion and other monuments. Dinner and overnight at Petra Hotel.

Day 5: LITTLE PETRA / WADI RUM (+/- 140 Km)
Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Fifteen minutes drive from Petra to Little Petra & Beidah; walk through 8,000 year old excavated stone age village sat Beidah and Basta, wander among the ruins of settlements of the biblical Edomites, to explore the sprawling remains of the Roman legionary fortress at Udruh, Continue to Wadi Rum; the desert and its awesome moon-like landscape, where the film “Lawrence of Arabia” was shot, the Jeeps will be ready to start a 3 hours tour in 4x4 vehicles. Dinner and overnight at Wadi Rum Camp.

Day 6: BETHANY / DEAD SEA / AMMAN (+/- 350 Km)
Stop At: Dead Sea, Israel
Via Araba road to visit Bethany; the site of John the Baptist's settlement at “Bethany Beyond the Jordan”, where Jesus was baptized, has long been known from the Bible (John 1:28 and 10:40) and from the Byzantine and medieval texts. Proceed to Dead Sea; with its’ year-round sunny skies and dry air, located in the Jordan Rift Valley, about 422 meters below sea level, one of the world's saltiest bodies of water, where it falls sort of accommodating any life, due to the extremely high content of salts. Leisurely afternoon for swimming at Dead Sea Spa Hotel (Entrance fees & Lunch). Dinner and overnight at Amman Hotel.

Day 7: AMMAN CITY TOUR / Desert Castles / AMMAN (+/- 270 Km)
Stop At: Amman Panorama Art Gallery, Al Hashemi Street, Amman Jordan
Amman City Tour the Capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, first known as a Rabbath Ammoun in the Iron Age, and later as Philadelphia, one of several Greco-Roman cities in the urban confederation known as the Decapolis, and recently the «white City» due to the white stone used to build its’ houses, visiting the Roman Theatre, Citadel, Folklore & Archeological Museum, to Proceed to visit Desert Castles, located in the eastern desert of the Kingdom, which offer the fresco art and zodiac dome of Qasr Amra baths; fortress-like enigmatic Qasr Karana; and the black basalt Roman/Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq. Overnight at Amman Hotel
