About this activity

After a comfortable pick-up service from your accommodation, the tour begins with visiting Madaba, the beautiful city well known for its mosaics belonging to the Byzantine and Umayyad age. The city also withholds the breathtaking and most famous Mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land that dates back to the 6th Century, it is part of the floor mosaic in the church of Saint George in Madaba. You will then head to Mount Nebo, where you will have the chance of walking around the ancient site and enjoy the beautiful view of the Holy Land. Mount Nebo is in fact mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, it is supposed to be the place where Moses was granted a view of the promised land that he would never enter. The last stop will be at the Baptismal Site of Jesus Christ in Bethany, where John the Baptist prepared and led the way for the arrival of the Messiah and marked the beginning of the preaching as "the gospel of the Kingdom of God" (Luke 16:16).
After this journey back in time, you will then head back to your accommodation.
