Day 1: - Arrive Amritsar Visit to Wagah Border

Stop At: Attari-Wagah Border Attari, Amritsar 143001 India
Your pick up will be scheduled in the morning (Recommended time between 8 AM – 1:30 PM)from airport, railway station or the hotel in Amritsar. After pick up, our driver will direct you to the hotel in an air-conditioned car. Check-in and have some personal leisure time in the hotel. At 3 pm in the afternoon, you will be taken for visit to Wagah-Attari border to attend the Flag Lowering ceremony. It is also called Beating Retreat ceremony and is conducted between Indian Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers. People from both the nations attend the military exercise with great zeal and the citizens cheer the soldiers. As the ceremony gets over, you will be safely dropped at your hotel.

Day 2: Amritsar City Tour & Evening Palki Ceremony

Stop At: Golden Temple Road Atta Mandi, Katra Ahluwalia, Amritsar 143001 India
Complimentary breakfast will be served by the hotel. Get ready and board our car with the driver to take you to spectacular Sikh pilgrimage site ‘The Golden Temple’. It is highly revered by devotees from all over the world. The temple is founded by fourth Sikh Guru Guru Ramdas in 1577. The temple is surrounded by big water tank called ‘Amrit Sarovar’ meaning Pool of nectar. The water is considered pure and people take holy dip in it. The upper part of the temple is adorned with gold leaf work. A 10 minutes walk through the causeway leads to the sanctum where the Sikh scripture is placed for the day. The temple echoes with Ardas and Kirtans (holy prayer) sung by the devotees. You will be returned to the temple in the evening to witness the retiring procession ceremony called Sukhasan. Move forward to next destination Jallianwala Bagh, famous historical monument. See Martyrs well inside the Bagh and ramble on its premises. Then we will go to the nearby famous local market ‘Hall Bazaar’. Check out variety of things like handicrafts, ornaments, electronic goods and lot more at exciting low prices. After an amazing shopping experience you will be dropped back at the hotel to take some time for rest. After the short break, you will be taken to the Golden Temple to enjoy the Palki ceremony. Watch people as they place the scripture with high respect on their head and transfer to the palanquin decorated with flowers. Whole event is marked by people singing Ardas and Kirtans (prayers). It is a stirring event with divine spiritual aura. Take Karha Prasad after the ceremony distributed by volunteers in the temple. Board the car followed by drop at the hotel.

Day 3: Departure from Amritsar
