This was great!!! The clog tour and the cheese tour were very quick - maybe 10 minutes each at most but it was very interesting. The rest of the time was free time in the village - very, very interesting...

My family of 5 took an afternoon tour. The guide and driver were so great! The shoe making was fun to watch, the cheese making was a little awkward with an older Chinese woman who didn’t speak very clear English. It was disappointing to only have one Free windmill to go into and have to pay $5 (each) to enter all the others. It was pouring rain, we ended up being soaked to the bone, but still had a good time.

tour was okay, really it was a bus to the windmills then left on your own. the guide was nice and gave us good information on bus, then we were taken to see how thy make the clogs (10 minutes). then a small demonstration on how they make the cheese (5 minutes). then we were left to walk around the place, there is a museum but you have to pay to enter, only one windmill was free to enter you had to pay to get into the rest. to be honest you could get a bus there and do your own thing..

Excellent day out. Delayed start due to the public transport strike but this did not detract from the wonderful time we had. The coach journey was pleasant and the tour operator looked after everyone during the journey and at the venue. Would def recommend this day out. We went with our children and we all enjoyed it!

Information on the event implied there were three separate venues. Actually it was one stop at a manufactured tourist trap. Our guide, Ava, was late to the party, and her narrative in three languages became boring. Some of the information was interesting and the windmills were beautiful.

The tour took place as described and on time. The short ferry ride was neat. However, we had not anywhere near enough time to explore after the two presentations. In fact, we had to leave before our lunch was served. We went home starving and 50 Euro poorer cost of lunch. I would recommend visiting Zaanse Schans just do it on your own with a private driver/taxi/Uber so that you can have as much time as you would like to explore.

That was truly amazing, seeing how the clogs and the cheese were made, it was very interesting, you then get 1 hour to explore, there is a place where they make homemade waffles and candles, the waffles were delicious

I did enjoy this. It was a beautiful day and the windmills looked great. I sampled quite a few cheeses and bought some for a snack later. A good tour.

A little surprised the windmill and clog and cheese factory was all in the same place. Had we known we would have taken the train from Ams Central as it wasn't too far away. We were rushed through the small town and it was a giant tourist trap. The cheese was worth it.. but you can find in town.
