Daytrip Giethoorn and the Windmills of Zaanse Schans

Said, our guide takes care of everyone in the group. He started the tour @8am and we managed to beat the crowd. Said is very informative, patient and always offer to help take pictures for us. I would recommend you to book with Said if you want to visit these 2 places which is a must in Amsterdam :)

What a wonderdul day trip! Mike, our guide, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of Dutch culture and history. He explained so many things along the way which really enhanced our experience. Zaanse Schans is really a marvel, something everyone should see! Mike was nice enough to walk us to each windmill and explain each windmill's use. He did not rush us at all and we had plenty of time to see the little shops. Giethoorn is really special and it really makes this trip standout. A beautiful, fairy tale village that everyone should see. We did a canal cruise and had plenty of time to walk the town and shop. Also, we recommend the frites and bitterballen at Mezze. Said, the tour operator, also met us there and he is such a friendly guy. It was raining a little bit and he was nice enough to provide us with umbrellas. Very nice day overall and we recommend this tour to everyone! Thanks again to Mike and Said!
