Explore the Amsterdam region by bus with this One-day ticket. Probably of most interest are the buses to the popular Waterland area, which includes the traditional fishing villages of Volendam, Marken, Edam and Monnickendam.
Waterland buses are run by EBS using red and grey R-Net branded buses. These operate from the upper bus terminal at Amsterdam Central station on the IJ waterside (IJzijde) beyond the train platforms 14 and 15. The buses have free WiFi.

Move on trough the Damplein in Edam and relax on one of the many terraces to enjoy a refreshing drink. Visit the Edam Museum, which is Edam's oldest brick house. It was built in or around 1540 as a private house and was furnished as museum in 1895. Learn about Edam’s history, from its shipbuilding tradition to its architecture, notable families and daily life in the past. Finally, visit the traditional Katwouder windmill in Katwoude.
You can take the bus back from Volendam to Amsterdam.
