Waterland buses are run by EBS using red and grey R-Net branded buses. These operate from the upper bus terminal at Amsterdam Central station on the IJ waterside (IJzijde) beyond the train platforms 14 and 15. The buses have free WiFi.

Move on to Katwoude. The nearby Katwoude is both nationally and internationally known for its cheese farms. Visit the traditional cheese farm and taste the different types of cheese. Other sights in Katwoude include a classic Dutch windmill.
Monnickendam, with its well-preserved historical center, is the third stop on this half-day trip. This monumental city is known for its smokehouses, three churches and shipyards.
Continue your tour from Monnickendam to the former island Marken. Marken is a stunning town with lovely bridges over the small canals and really nice wooden façades.
From Marken you can take the boat back to Volendam. Cruise along the former Zuiderzee coastline and learn all about this area's fascinating history and culture ((English/Dutch Audio guide). The Volendam-Marken Express is departing each 30 minutes from Marken to Volendam and it is possible to bring your E-bike or E-chopper on the ship. After a 30 minutes cruise you will be back in Volendam where you can drive underneath the dike back to the rental company to bring back your E-bike / E-Chopper.
You can take the bus back from Volendam to Amsterdam.

You can pick up your vehicle at the address: Haven no. 45 (underneath the dike of Volendam) Please make sure to be at the rental company 10 minutes prior to your departure time Important: Driving on an E-chopper is only allowed when you are in the possession of a valid driving licence. Driving a E-bike is allowed without being in the possession of a driving license. You always need to present the document when renting an E-chopper. When renting an E-bike or E-chopper a deposit of €50,- will be asked, which will be returned to you after giving back the (undamaged) E-bike or E-chopper •The One-day bus ticket is a paper Chip Card which is valid for one day after check in with certain regional lines in the north of Amsterdam (Waterlands region), operated by EBS transport company •The Waterlands Day Tickets are not valid in the regional bus lines of other transport companies like Arriva, Veolia or in the train •Valid any day of the week, one day from first check in •The Waterlands Day Ticket is a disposable Chip Card •Each time you board an EBS operated bus you’ll have to check in, and check out when you arrive at your destination •After using the Chip Card you may throw it away
