Arturs came to Amsterdam to study international tourism, fell in love with the city and decided to call it home after he graduated! He is passionate about sharing the things he loves about the city with travelers. Arturs loves meeting new people to learn about their lives, hear their stories and to share his adventure eating his heart out in Amsterdam. Originally from Latvia, Arturs loves how open minded and liberal the Dutch are and is excited to showcase the diversity of foods in the Old West neighborhood of Amsterdam. Immerse yourself in local Dutch food and culture through this personally guided food tour.

In addition to food stalls and restaurants, keep an eye out for pop up stores that showcase interesting, artsy, upcycled (repurposed) products that are very typical of the Dutch culture. The Dutch are keen on sustainability and recycling and it’s a fun way to get a glimpse of the local culture. Artur will also point out the best local recommendations for restaurants and bars that you can come back to later.

On days that Arturs is not available, Sean, who is equally passionate about showcasing the food of Amsterdam, will be your host.
