Private daytrip Giethoorn and the Windmills of Zaanse Schans

Following this little escapade your guide will take you along further north of Amsterdam, to the world famous Dutch village called GIETHOORN. A village that is sparkling with beauty in all seasons. Giethoorn feels like Alice in wonderland, so splended and peacefull it seems unreal.
Our guide will inforn and talk about the history of this unique place, giving you the ‘insights’ on the secrets and stories to Giethoorn and its region.
After this one and a half hour ride, with a snack and bathroom break, you’llarrive at the embarking place in Giethoorn. From here on you will float along Giethoorn for an hour, guided by a local captain. Sliding through its canals you will be in awe of the views of the marvels of the farytale village with its authentic lovely ‘thatched roof’ farmhouses.
You will get to know everything about Giethoorn on the boat trip, with extra time you’ll get to explore a little taste of Giethoorns daily life, venturing over its narrow paths by foot or by bike .
You can also opt for a speed lesson to operate the so called “whisper boat” an electric motor boat, then you’ll be YOUR OWN CAPTAIN for an hour!
