About this activity
At 7 a.m. we will board our comfortable van and depart Anchorage on our way to Willow, home of the Iditarod Headquarters and the official re-start of the Iditarod race. Experience the excitement of cheering for your favorite mushers as they set out for a 1050 mile race to Nome. The official race start takes place at 2pm and we will remain in Willow until the last musher departs for Nome. Afterwards, we return to Anchorage. Lunch is not included. Please let us know if you need lodging arrangements in Anchorage. Departure point is any Anchorage area hotel. Please note that we do not pick up at private homes; apartments or B&B's.
