Anchorage Bike and Brew Beer Tour

Experience the booming Anchorage craft beer scene in style as you join your knowledgeable hoperator for an off-the-beaten-path tour of Anchorage. Your day will begin as we meet in downtown Anchorage, load up the bikes, and drive out to Anchorages largest municipal park, Kincaid Park for an 8-mile leisurely journey on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail back to downtown. We will make a handful of stops to talk about the natural landscape and historic events that have shaped Anchorage over the years. After your 2.5 hr. bike adventure, enjoy some free time in downtown for lunch and sightseeing before the afternoon part of the tour. The afternoon will be spent exploring Alaska's rapidly growing craft beer industry. We will learn all about craft beer from grain to glass as we get a behind the scenes look into this thriving industry. This non-motorized paved trail offers world-class views, wildlife viewing opportunities, and most importantly an opportunity to open up our senses to the amazing Alaskan landscape. King Street Brewing Co. Since opening in 2011, this quaint taproom has become a magnet for locals who know good beer. Proof that even the young cubs can hang with the old grizzlies. Resolution Brewing Co. (Monday - Tuesday) With a growing demand for their small batch, high-quality Belgian-inspired ales, Resolution brews with the same creativity, passion, and well stoke, that draws all of us like-minded folks to the 49th state.
