Itinerary
We meet at our office location on 5th Ave, where we then drive you to the trailhead. Once there we have a couple options for exploration. The first is hiking part of the Historic Iditarod Trail, the original trail taken to Nome in 1925. The second is the Albert Loop Trail, an easy mile loop trail that goes along the Eagle River and has beaver and salmon viewing decks. With time, we can do both. Afterwards we return to the van and bring you back to Anchorage. Round-trip distance for this easy hike is about 4 miles.
