Itinerary
We meet at our office location on 5th Ave, where we then drive you to the trailhead. Once at the parking lot we make a quick stop at the Glen Alps overlook, where you get a great view of the Anchorage area. After that is the climb to the top of Flattop, Anchorage’s most hiked mountain. Please note that the last part of the climb to the top requires the use of hands to summit. There is also a bench below this last section if you choose to stop there or are not able to summit. The views are still spectacular. This hike is approximately 4 miles round trip.
