Glacier Dog Sledding via Helicopter

About this activity
A helicopter ride, a glacier landing, and dog sledding on snow in the summer in Alaska! There’s no better way to see Alaska than from the air, and there's no better Alaskan activity than dog sledding! So combine the two and get the best of both worlds. Your guide will pick you up and take you the short drive south to Girdwood. Then we’ll board a brand new Robinson R44 helicopter for a flight (15 minutes round-trip) to the glacier through the Chugach Range’s stunning mountain peaks. We’ll land atop a glacier for approximately 1.5 hours with time to cuddle Alaskan Husky puppies and take a 1 hour sled dog ride with members of Mitch Seavey’s Kennel, home to the first father/son finish in Iditarod history and Dallas Seavey’s Iditarod Champion teams. This tour also includes waterproof outer-layers (jacket & pants) as well as over-boots to go over your sturdy walking shoes.
