WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Let a local lead the way from Anchorage to Willow and beyond on this 10 hour tour. Meet your guides at the Log Cabin Visitor Center in Downtown Anchorage and drive north to Willow. Your guides will outfit you with an insulated helmet, googles, a fat tire bike and pogies (bar mits) and gloves to keep your hands warm. Take off and explore endless miles of peaceful winter wonderland on well maintained trails which will be chosen based on the groups overall ability level to ensure an enjoyable ride.

Hop off your bike back at the van and enjoy some hot chocolate on your drive north to Talkeetna, originally a riverboat steamer station which supported the gold mining boom. Enjoy a hot lunch at the Roadhouse before heading out to explore the small town on foot. It's a short walk to the river bank where, on clearer days, you can enjoy panoramic views of Denali.

Sit back and relax on the train ride back to Anchorage. Our nights come early in the winter and this 3 hour train ride gives you the opportunity to watch for the Northern Lights.
