It was a very disappointing experience. The tour company was totally unreliable and the driver rude. Three hours before the beginning of the tour they informed me that they cannot pick me up from my hotel as it was out of their way even though my voucher clearly stated the name and location of my hotel as the pick up point We had to drive downtown to another hotel after being warned not to bother the reception there as they were very busy! They also told us that the company doesn't have an actual business office but operates ony on line. I strongly believe we should have been compensated for all the trouble It is a real disgrace.

The driver guide was very rude when he picked us up. I was told to wait in the lobby of the hotel and they would come in and get us. I get a call one minute after pick up time from the driver reprimanding me for not being outside. In addition, we felt unsafe when he was driving. He had one hand on the wheel, one holding a mini microphone that should have been attached to his shirt and he kept looking at the side of the mountain for wild life instead of keeping his eyes on the road. Horrible experience!

Very scenic ride from Anchorage to Portage. Got an early start so made a couple stops along the way and a chance to buy lunch before going to the glacier, mmm, clam chowder. Boat was very nice an roomy inside and on top. The glaciers were beautiful and fresh snow on the mountains made it even better. Kept hoping the glacier would drop a calf but no such luck. Just enjoyed the beauty. The Wildlife Center was good. The animals have very large enclosures and you don't get to see big animals up close like that. Great tour on all counts.
