We meet at our office location on 5th Ave, where we then drive you to the trailheads. This trip takes you to two different waterfalls: Thunderbird Falls and Barbara Falls, two easy hikes in the Chugach State Park. At Thunderbird, after a forest hike you have fantastic views of the falls and can even go down to them from another trail. After, we go to Barbara Falls where another stunning waterfall awaits. Total walking distance for both falls combined is 2.8 miles, with minimal elevation gains. This is a great option for those looking to fill their evening with an activity and still make it back in time for dinner.
