About this activity
Itinerary

We meet at our office location on 5th Ave, where we then drive you to the trailhead. The trail is located on the Turnagain Arm, a waterway off of the Cook Inlet where Captain Cook had to “turn again” in search of the Northwest Passage. The Arm is also home to beluga whales, and we will stop at Beluga Point to see if they are out before continuing to the trailhead. This is an approximately 8.4 mile round-trip hike on uneven terrain. We take this moderately difficult trail to Rainbow Trailhead before returning the way we came and returning you to Anchorage.
