Join our passionate chocolate Master Confectioner to lift the veil on the French macarons and top off the baking class with a terrific lunch of Savoyard terroir specialities.
You'll be picked up in the morning a your hotel for an exploration of the Savoyard traditions. You'll discover the National Park of Les Bauges and stop at Fréderic's chocolate store for a baking class. For 25 years, he has found his inspiration in the evolution of nature and seasons of his region. His chocolates are made in the purest of traditions, using the best quality ingredients, using only organic ingredients found close to home. And his ice creams taste the local honey, walnuts and Chartreuse Verte.
To pass on his passion and expertise Frédéric teaches you how to bake macarons. You will taste and of course bring home some of your creations.
You'll then head to a small picturesque auberge in Les Bauges for a terrific lunch. That terrific that you may not want to go back home...But you'll be back, in the afternoon.
