Bird Watching Tour Birding

The vegetative characteristics of Finca Filadelfia have been divided into shade coffee (1590 a 1970 mts) pine and oak (1970 to 2270 mts) and the cloud forest (2270 to 2460 mts). The pine and oak is named Tropical Damp Forest. The highest is known as a Tropical Humid Forest and it is here that you will commence your descent with wide cobble stone paths, between the dense vegetation of this natural forest where the avocado and oak predominate. From this vantage point, you will sight a myriad of birds. Descending further, the most visible trees are cypress and oak. There you can observe Bushy-creasted and Steller s Jay, Trogons, endemics Warblers, Sparrows, Blue-trhoated Motmot, Red- tailed Hawk, Trushes, Doves, Woodpeckers, Hummingbirds, Swallows, and Vultures to name a few. The pure and natural atmosphere make this tour an extraordinary experience for bird watchers, where more than 109 species of birds have been sighted and usually about 45 species while the tour lasts. The tour concludes in the lower part of the Humid Tropical Forest.
