High Plains Plunge

Gradual up-hill dirt road gives way to a dirt trail that cuts through farmland as it continues to ascend. Finally the crest of a ridge is reached and trail quickly gives way to sick-single track down-hill action. This trip takes you to a village approximately 30 minutes from Antigua into the highlands where you begin your tour over easy paved streets which quickly give way to cobble stone then dirt with a gradual ascent through rough farmland roads. In a short time the ascent takes an unexpected PLUNGE dropping you into a beautiful HIGH PLAINS valley. The road levels then climbs again gradually pushing you towards the mountainous ridge in the distance. Upon reaching the ridge, drop off the back of your seat and keep your fists clenched because this roads takes a mighty PLUNGE down a high velocity technical trail. Finally depositing you in a tranquil village some miles below. Bike back through villages and paved road to Antigua.
