Pilar Push

Bike into a nature reserve and begin the big 5k push as you climb a dirt road leading into the highlands and spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes. Finally put wheel to single track and descend through the forest and finish at the swimming pools below. This one begins as we enter a private nature reserve to begin the "PUSH" a 5k dirt road climb However the great vistas of the local volcanoes makes it all worthwhile. Finally we reach end of the up-hill and the single track adventure begins. We criss-cross farmland, dipping through forest and snaking our way on a narrow fast trail with a respectable drop-off to our constant left. The trail descends rapidly and deposits us at the entrance to the nature reserve where we drop the bikes and freshen up with a dip in the fresh water pools (included in the price). You can even toast the great tour with a cold beer. "Cheers! Sick Ride"!
