Day 1: Colombo - Sigiriya

Stop At: Ancient City of Sigiriya, Sigiriya Site between the towns of Dambulla and Habarane, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
You will be warmly greeted by your personal chauffeur guide at Bandaranaike International Airport and set out into quiet green inland to explore island’s ancient highlights in Cultural Triangle where there are some UNESCO – World Heritage Sites.

Day 2: Sigiriya - Anuradhapura - Sigriya

Stop At: Mahamevnawa Dhammachethiya Buddhist Monastery Anuradhapura, Watawandana Rd, Anuradhapura 50000 Sri Lanka
After breakfast, you will be driven to Anuradhapura. En route visit Aukana Buddha Statue, the tallest ancient Buddha statue in Sri Lanka.

Thereon, proceed with your guide to have your first taste of Sri Lanka’s illustrious history in Anuradhapura. The city houses the oldest historically documented tree on earth, grown from a branch of the very tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment 2500 years ago.

Day 3: Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya

Stop At: Polonnaruwa Sri Lanka
Today, you will make the trip to its second capitol, the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, for a look at some of the island’s most dazzling ruins from its next significant era.

An important royal capital with its well-preserved 12th century ruins & impressive stone culture recalls an inspired past.

Stop At: Ancient City of Sigiriya, Sigiriya Site between the towns of Dambulla and Habarane, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
In the afternoon, visit a royal invitation to explore a majestic 5th century fortress in the sky – Sigiriya. This gigantic column of rock, rising up 200 meters (660ft) into the heavens was once a royal palace.

Day 4: Sigiriya - Sigiriya

Stop At: Hiriwadunna Lake, Hiriwadunna, Habarana, Sri Lanka
After breakfast, proceed to a Tropical Village for a memorable lunch experience together with a live cookery demonstration to be introduced to the fine culinary arts of Sri Lanka.

Before having your lunch, enjoy with a small walk before starting bullock cart ride; experience an unforgettable traditional catamaran ride and visit a chena farm and explore how the chena cultivation is done by the villagers.

Stop At: Dambulla Cave Temple, Jaffna Hwy, Habarana 50150 Sri Lanka
Visit Dambulla Cave temple, one of the most impressive and well-preserved cave temples in Asia.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 5: Sigiriya - Colombo
